Psychiatric Prodrome in Anti-NMDAR–Associated Encephalopathy: Clinical and Pathophysiologic Considerations
In addition to psychosis, depressive symptoms can occur in patients with anti-NMDAR encephalopathy (ANMDARE). ANDMARE should be considered in patients presenting with psychotic or atypical depressive illnesses.
